Dance/Movement Therapy
Dance therapy uses movement and dance to
foster growth and self-worth while supporting the student’s current abilities.
Dance therapy strengthens and increases the student’s movement repertoire,
promotes healthy movement patterns, reduces tension and provides new ways of
perceiving one’s self and the environment. It is effective with individuals
and groups, verbal and non-verbal, and across a variety of diagnoses. Available as a group or private
activity. Group classes are
offered for a minimum of three students. We invite you to create your own group.
Private Dance/Movement Private sessions are available Monday through Thursday.
